PAL, April-May: Fanatic

Postby mcfonz » Mon Apr 24, 2017 7:58 pm

Yes! Another PAL!!! Time to get going on the April-May FANATIC theme!!

This will run from now until the 31st of May. Get those paints out and those brushes swooshing!!

As usual, the interpretation of the theme is entirely down to you. Take it literal and paint yourself a night goblin fanatic - or paint yourself a Gripping Beast angry monk who is absolutely fanatical that raiding Saxons have just looted the monastery!! Happy painting!!

What a superb game this is and will become, my prediction was weak and we will be many more.
Thank you all and see you again here, in breathing life, never where popular opinion dies

I might actually get in on this! We're moving to a more permanent (two and a half weeks) residence today, so I can finally break out my paints...

Got basecoats on, blue is highlighted.

Also, bit of background on him from the PP website, to prove his fanatic credentials:
The divine power of Menoth flows without effort through the High Reclaimer as he sends forth clouds of burning ash and causes the unworthy to burst into flame. These unfaithful are consumed with brutal agony before their lives are snuffed out and their souls sent to Urcaen. One crushing blow from his great weapon Cremator smashes torsos, rends warjack armor, and ignites anything it does not immediately demolish. No one is safe from reclamation at his hands.

a fanatic type for my scrappers crew

"Jack" was a children's entertainer before the event, although after the incident when his spring snapped he could have been repaired but his joyous yells "Boing! Boing! F*&£ing BOING!" and the extensive casualty list ensured he was scheduled for decommissioning. Only the event saved him. Now he travels the zones with "Mother" no one is sure if he's searching for artefacts or victims, crews tend to stay silent or run the other way when they hear a sudden and eerie Boiiiiiing!
